Top 15 Duran Duran albums

Duran Duran’s 15th (FIFTEENTH!) studio album, Future Past, was released on October 22nd 2021 and it, pardon the cliché, took the world by storm. So I thought I’d do a Top 15 Duran Duran albums countdown! This is, of course, my personal, subjective list, and not a definitive one. Here we go!

15. Red Carpet Massacre (2007) — This is one of those that most fans don’t like and that’s understandable. It does have some good stuff here and there, despite its general lack of personality.
Favorite song: Falling Down

14. Thank You (1995) — A cover album and we all know how irritating those are. Most people hate this album and even though I can understand why, I think their covers of White Lines and Watching the Detectives makes it all OK for me. Kind of.

13. Liberty (1990) — Famously one of their weakest albums, Liberty is usually at the bottom of these lists and, frankly, I personally don’t mind it too much, but only Violence of Summer and Serious really stand out among the tracks.

12. Pop Trash (2000) — The whole 1997–2002-ish era was a difficult time for them overall. Only Simon Le Bon and Nick Rhodes remained in the band, along with Warren Cuccurullo, and it definitely lacked that…
