This is so poignant. I’ve been thinking about friendships a lot lately, ever since my best friend broke off our friendship (I even wrote about it here on Medium), and it’s got to a point where I’ve realised some horrible truths about it. It’s such a complicated issue and you’ve illustrated it so beautifully.
