Why? How come? Is it random? Thankfully, May was much, much better. But I kept thinking, where did it go wrong? And how could it have gotten to that point? Well, I realized that the problem goes further back than April 2023…

2020

2020 was the year I joined Medium. A friend of mine had a page and she shared an article about mental health and writing on our WhatsApp group for writers. I asked her about Medium and the rest, as they say, is history. I was new here and a few mistakes are to be expected, of course. It started out quiet and it gradually grew bigger. But looking back, and having read multiple articles on Medium about Medium and for Medium, I realized that those mistakes may have cost me some money along the way…

I should have, for one, reached 100 followers a lot sooner than I did. As you know, you need to have 100 followers before you can start earning…
