Seriously, what’s so special about Medium?
As some of you may know, I have been blogging for about 8 years. A few months ago, I wrote about my experiences, good and bad, with blogging here, and I mentioned that I started out on WordPress, which is still one of my favorite blogging platforms. And The Old Hollywood Garden is still going strong, thank goodness! Luckily, people still want to read about dead movie stars, Oscars controversies and my thoughts on Johnny Guitar (1954). Who would have guessed?
But, apart from WordPress, I am also on two other blogging platforms (and who knows what’s next?!). I write about film noir and its heroes, heroines, and everything in between, etc on Substack. And about everything else here on Medium.
I’ve been writing on Medium for about two years now, give or take. And yes, I have indeed written about most things. Film? Check. TV shows you should be watching? Check. The best driving songs ever? Yap. Travel and all that comes with it? Oh yeah.
So what’s so special about Medium?
