Oscars 2023: Top 8 Jimmy Kimmel jokes
Sooooo, here we are! The 95th Academy Awards were held in Hollywood on Sunday, and Everything, Everywhere, All At Once took everything, everywhere… you get it. Seven Oscars, including Picture, Director and Screenplay. The Daniels created something magical and it paid off. I do wish Banshees of Inisherin could have gotten something, but hey, can’t have everything. All in all, this year’s Oscars was record-breaking, inspiring, wholesome and easily one of the most enjoyable ceremonies in recent memory, at least for me. Michelle Yeoh’s win was deserved and historic, Brendan Fraser and Ke Huy Quan’s wins were the ultimate comeback. Jamie Lee Curtis and her heart-warming her acceptable speech had us cheering, John Travolta broke our hearts with his tribute to Olivia Newton-John… And so, so much more. You know I love the Oscars. It’s my favorite day of the year. But I don’t think I can do it justice with yet another post about how wonderful the whole thing was. There will be tons of them this week, so I’ll just stick to… my favorite jokes from Jimmy Kimmel’s opening monologue. A few days ago, I posted about my 15 favorite jokes from all of Bob Hope’s monologues on my blog, so I thought I’d do something similar about Jimmy Kimmel. So here they are!
