My New Year’s Resolutions 2023 vs 2024

2023 has come and gone (almost), as is the case every year, because you know, that’s how time works. And with New Year’s Eve fast approaching, lots of people are already making their resolutions.

You know how they go…

Go to the gym, watch less TV, drink more water, work less, get in touch with old friends, etc…

We’ve all done them.

And every year, without exception, I come with a list of some ludicrous resolutions that I would never be able to do. At least, not in one single calendar year.

So last year, I decided to be a bit more basic with my resolutions.

They were:

  • Get my sleep routine back on track
  • Eat more fruit
  • Learn another language
  • Re-watch movies I didn’t like the first time
  • Relax

Pretty easy, right? Well…

What happened?

Sleep-wise? Not even close. My sleep routine is borderline insane. Sometimes, I can actually go to bed on time, but my problem is that I just don’t realize what time it is. Like, I’ll be on my laptop, writing away, or watching something and before I know it, it’s two in the morning. I’m hardly ever tired anyway, but…
