My Final Oscars Predictions — 2024
We are one week away from the Oscars and I’m already BUZZING. It’s my favourite day of the year and my favourite event, as I’m sure you know. Not that I mention it all the time, cause… I, I don’t…
And alas… I’ve made my predictions! About three months after everybody else, I know…
I’ve been waiting and holding out for as long as I could. I wanted to see how award season panned out, who won what, who lost to who, and at which award show, because ultimately, all of that matters when it comes to the Oscars. This isn’t to say that the other award shows are just a preview leading up to the big event, and that the Oscars are the only awards that matter, but all in all, they have been around longer than most people alive, and it is still, to quote every single Oscars host ever, ‘Hollywood’s biggest night!’.
So…
Who do I think is going to win? Who do I think is taking home Best Director, Original Score and Production Design? Will there be any upsets? (obviously, it is the Oscars after all)
Well… here are my predictions.
For the record, there are plenty of YouTubers, podcasters and content creators alike who have made fantastic analysis of who is going to win and why, much better than me, so I will just list my choices, without much of an explanation.
