My all time favourite movie, and the better movie of the two. The nearly perfect screenplay, the performances, the way it flows so beautifully… I love Hitch, and I love Psycho, but The Apartment deserved Best Picture, in my opinion. Hitch himself loved it too, he actually sent Billy a telegram saying how much he’d loved it ☺️
