People Who Say They Are ‘Bad Texters’ And Why That’s A Problem
Do you know the TV show ‘Room 101’? Essentially, celebrities go on there and they tell the host about three things they would put into Room 101 never to be seen again. Think, people who can’t put supermarket trolleys back where they should go, bad drivers, or Chicago’s back catalogue.
Personally, if I went on it, I would put supposed ‘bad texters’ into Room 101. Not in a mean way, I just… want to talk.
Friends who don’t text back
Last year, I contacted a friend of mine regarding a project I needed help with. Very early stages at this point, and I felt she was probably the best person to help me, as she had a lot of experience in the field.
I texted her in March. She replied, and enthusiastically said she was up for it. I replied back saying we should meet up for a coffee and talk shop. She didn’t reply, then a few days later I texted her again, suggesting we go for a coffee or a drink that week. She replied four days later, apologising for being a ‘bad texter’ and that she was still up for it. I again suggested we talk about this in person over a coffee. She replied thirteen days later (!), apologising for being the ‘worst person at messaging and socials’… She said she was still interested in the project, etc, and then she finally acknowledged…
